Subheading
The risk of serious head injury is a sobering subject for every cyclist. According to the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety at the Queensland University of Technology, most cyclist fatalities are due to head trauma, usually due to a collision with a motor vehicle.
Headbands can inspire passionate debate among cyclists. Some detractors argue that headbands make you hotter, while others swear by them, especially for long rides or competitions. Despite this debate, and given the backdrop of an Australian summer (where hot and humid conditions can make even the coolest of cyclists uncomfortable), there remain several compelling reasons to invest in a headband.
