Made from extremely light, yet shower proof and windproof fabric, it can keep out the wind and light rain and is easily pocketable when not needed - in fact it folds neatly into its own pocket for easy stowing.  There is a band of reflective material across the back pockets and tabs at each side for visibility in the dark.
